What I'm doing Now (inspired by sive.rs)
Updated September 4th, 2024, from Singapore, where it’s getting quite hot.
Video Editing & Color Grading
I've been hooked onto video editing ever since I found DaVinci Resolve and tried putting together a 2min short video with some footage taken from a party at home. The interest propelled in Kuching, shooting with Ghai. Editing and colour grading that video gave me a glimpse of crafting visual story-telling. I then worked on a Jungleflowmusic video which challenged me to combine scattered visuals & audio from an hour long live performance.
Right now I am completing an edit with some footage of Penang by Ghai, attempting to combine its visuals with some older audio files recorded in Thailand.
I am looking to collaborate with friends to capture stories that seem ordinary but change us in unique ways.
Learning by Playing
I have always been a percussion guy and stayed away from anything melodic, reluctantly. I decided to change that and reach out to a guitarist friend interested in percussion. We're trading skills and making a song together where he drums and I play the guitar. It's so much more fun than the conventional way of learning. Thoroughly enjoying it!
